okay, so i have a possibility of being on staff at No Brand, so i might have lied about the Blue Rose thingy. i'll still make the Blue Rose line of jewelry, but idk if i will be vending at all. if i am, i have decided to go with a new business name. i don't know what that name is, but when i figure it out, i'll let you know. BUT! today i went to the farmer's market with my roommate and our friend down the hall because my roommate needed to take pictures of culture for her photography class. so, we went to the farmer's market and took pictures of carrots, and beets, and tomatoes, and various people... and eggplants... X) (my roommate HATES eggplants...) and then we went downtown to a jewelry/art store that she heard of called Tangled up in Hue. so, we went and took pictures of beads and jewelry and art, and i got so many ideas for new pieces. but, when we left the store, i kinda had another one of my "i can't do one thing really well" moments, and i was just kind of blabbing how i can do a myriad of things (my words exactly) but not one thing really well that would make up a business or career or something. so i was blabbing away, and in my self-conversation, i had an epiphany! y'know, the thing they teach you in church school where you have a brilliant revelation? yeah. that thing. i had one. it was kind of cool. and now i have to go to the bathroom. brb.

okay. what was i talking about? oh yeah, epiphany. my particular epiphany was about how instead of creating a business that only used one of my talents, i will now make one that will include everything i do. jewelry, welding, painting, drawing, knitting, sewing, quilting, photography... the list goes on and on of the things that i can make and sell. i know that this seems quite logical to most small business people, but i just needed to find it on my own. that way, i feel as if i've accomplished something. it's taken me forever to get to this place, and now that i'm here, i feel great! as soon as i get back home, i'm gonna collect all of the stuff that i can sell, and probably make more! maybe i'll have my friends help me too, if they want... well, that all will come later. right now, i need a name for this endeavor. time for research!
